Goran Sudzuka

Goran was born in 1969, Zagreb, Croatia. Where he still lives and works. After finishing High School For Applied Arts in 1988 he started working in an animation studio and published her first comics and illustrations. In 1990 he collaborated with Darko Macan on “Albert the Butler”, a series of short horror stories published in Croatia and Germany. He began working for DC Vertigo in 1999, co-creating “Outlaw Nation” with writer Jamie Delano. For the work on “Outlaw Nation” he won the “Russ Manning” award for the most promising newcomer at the Eisner awards of 2001. In 2002 he illustrated the four-part series “Hellblazer Special: Lady Johanna Constantine”, written by Andy Diggle.
For the last two years he has been a regular fill-in artist on Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra’s ”Y – the Last Man” and is drawing a weekly strip “Martina Mjesec” with Darko Macan for www.stripovi.com.
