Berin Tuzlic

Berin Tuzlic was born in Sarajevo in 1969, where he completed his primary and secondary education. In 1989, he published his first comic called ‘Tarzan’ in Sarajevo magazine Male Novine. In 1993, he made the comics ‘Cvijetni Macak’ (‘Flower Cat’), ‘Zambak’ and ‘Bosman’ for the Transinternational Production House in Sarajevo. In 1995, Berin Tuzlic left for Rijeka, Croatia, where he worked for Novi List daily with his strip ‘Morcic’. He also published a coloring book and a strip ‘Kuna a Tisucu Boja’. In 1996, he worked as phasing expert on the feature-lenght animation ‘Segrt Hlapic’. After that, he became a member of a group of artists called The Zagreb School of Cartoons.
